What I’m Reading

I read (or more accurately “skim”) through about 240 blogs, magazines and other sources every day using Google Reader, an RSS feed reader. Google Reader has a feature which allows me to mark an item to “share.” When I do that, Google Reader creates an RSS feed of my shared items. That feed appears on this site.

The items there run the gamut of my interests but you’ll find a lot of posts about open-source, creative commons, technological freedom, web design, and, of course, dinosaurs, UFOs and all sorts of ridiculous stuff. Those items get updated more often than my blog entries because I’m skimming through my Reader all day. So if you start finding a lot of items that you like, my suggestion is that you subscribe to my Shared Items RSS feed.

Currently, this feed is updated every hour but if you subscribe you’ll get new items as I share them.
